What should I think of this... He said that it has never had oil ran through it so I assume thats why it's rusty, but what if it flaked off inside, or something else hppened... What woudl you guys do? BTW, its just surface rust, and it flaked off very easily once I took it out.<br />

If it doesn't look good after cleaning it I would just buy a new one.</p>

The Rest doesn't it all looks clean and new. It kinda looks like the machine shop installed everything and lightly oiled it all, and then he put the new pil pickup on and the baffle and pan and didn't put any oil on it to keep it from rusting. The Motor was kept upside down w/o a head or an oil drain plug.</p>
