<![CDATA[Motor/Tranny Swaps]]>Okay. I bought a 1995 Honda Civic DX. EJ1. The motor in it now is the stock 1.5L 4cyl non-vtec with an automatic tranny. I have been looking at motor swaps/trans. swaps and have found a couple. Just wondering if anyone knew of any swaps and transmissions that are good and easy to install. Like a direct fit swap that produces decent power.

now joel i would have a problem if someone told me to buy thing that they havn't even owned or even rode in... so for you to suggest that nitrous is his best bet is kinda well...retarded....

On a lighter note... I think an ls is the best daily driving motor. it has a good amount of torque and can hold it's own in the occational ripper with the local ricers...

now if your looking for a direct swap bolt in the auto is holding you back. Places like hasport sell conversion mounts to aid in the process of swaping the motor/trans to a manual set up.

Now you chould keepit auto and run a lsmotor still but i think that might defeat the perpose but it can be done and for cheap so... think about what you want and decide rom there...:icon_rr:
