From my understanding the FRM sleeve is much stronger than a typical sleeve. When the forged aluminum piston expands under heat...bad things happen. Some piston manufactures and places like Import Builders have incorporated a piston skirt design similiar to what is found on the new s2k's (also FRM) where the skirt is made of iron (much stronger than al.). Honing is also a very tricky process on FRM sleeves, but it can definitely be done by the right person.

Im about 5'9" or so and not bigger just got a lil beer belly last time I was weighed I was 185lbs... was a while ago too. I have long black hair and that wasnt you you seen that night. That is another SVT and that guy just bought it he doesnt know how to drive it and I have raced him and pulled a good 2 car lengths on him which is funny for driving the same car. That wasnt me that night I havent lost to a prelude at all yet... spoolude pulled me our 2nd race but by the end of what would have been the 1/4 he didnt pull past me and thats cause I missed 3rd.

The only prelude I have raced most of the guys from fargostreet were there to whitness it and someone has it on video im sure. The prelude is heavier by a good 200-300 lbs dry without the driver... So his extra couple horses dont make up for shit.

Stock SVT is 170hp 145tq and roughly 2700lbs... not to mention they have a traction controll that kicks in even when the switch is used to shut it off... any wheel spin under 25mph = breaks and engine slowing you down to stop the wheel spin. I bypassed that so I dont have to worry about that anymore. And there are some videos showing a stock SVT running 15.3... and that was at 93mph on the track. First gear is way to long and doesnt hit redline until 42mph.

Now would you please stop saying that was me he raced because it wasnt. And im willing to race spoolude and the nova anytime. The evo... only if he is willing to go in reverse to make it fair.

Ok, I owe you a sincere oppology please except no bs. I can't speak for my cousin, but hopefully if you see him you'll get a good race in. I think he'll ultimately win tho unless you get few mods.

Actually focuses are nice cars, and the engines won't blow up with boost like an h22!!! I'm thinking they may be a bit underrated b/c I've seen dynos with 150 hp at the wheels, on focaljet.com and I saw where a guy got a 15.1 stock!! So you definitely have something different than anybody else and with potential. Now if ford would just bring an AWD turbo one here, and the falcon while they're at it.

Countour svt's are a really good buy for the money too.

anyways, hopefully after I finish school I'm getting a 2003 cobra or 2005 mustang, but i'll probibly end up with a cl type S supercharged.

Here's a svt focus I was looking at on ebay awesome deal:

My input on the Spoolude vs Flowcus race.

Flowcus's focus is brand new under 30K meaning it's still running perfect and is putting down the correct HP that Ford claims it can.

Spooludes prelude has a JDM H22 swap with how knows how many miles on it + the miles he has put on it. Not only that but I'm sure that engine has been pushed and pushed. A stock 4g prelude weights around 2800 pounds so the focus and the prelude are very close in weight. Untill this car is dynoed no one has any idea of what numbers it realy puts down.

I'm going to have to go with $5 on flowcus on this one.
