<![CDATA[I think I found it...]]>I don't know if anyone caught it in the paper on saturday morning but there is a 1st gen probe gt for 550 w/ 136k on it. I went to look at it. Test drove it. Heres the scoop-

Cons:
-Paint is ugly grey with greenpinstripes and a red trunk
-Key is stuck in the ignition
-5th gear is completely gone (How does 5th go before low gears?)
-The clutch is toast... the travel is probably around an inch
-Driver's Seat is torn up
-Silver painted air vents and symbols on steering wheel filled in with a silver paint marker.
-Radiator is damaged if not cracked. The owner says it's taking on average 2 gallons a day.
-Outside door locks are messed up.

Pros:
-$550

Please give me some feedback. I plan on making my decision today on whether or not to buy it. Please keep in mind, this will be a race setup, not street. SO htings like the key don't matter that much. Thanks.

I fixed my shit today a fuse was out........go figure....... driving home today my acr just up and dies I look at everything an hour goes by nothin call some they pick me up drive back to the farm.drop him off then take off toward fargo again stop off by my car try it again open the distirbutor cap check for mositure none but did find a loose wire god dam it plug it in tightin everything down strat it up and fires right a way wtf :mad: :mad: 😄

We planned on moving it out to Chafee tonight and I went to get some gas so I wouldn't have to find a place on thanksgiving. I dropped my girlfriend off at her house and stopped at tacobell. Not even thinking about it I got out of the car and when I got inside I looked in my hand and the key was in it! THE FRICKEN THING CAME OUT WHEN I DIDNT TRY! So i was pretty pumped. The some kids were cocking off to me cuz they thought i was trying to make my exhaust loud(of course I wasn't, hole in muffler) so i decided to take him for a stock ride. I got in put the key in and it wouldn't turn. I guess from trying to be jerked out so many times, it wore down the key in the ignition. SO I was fucked. No way to start my car. I tryed a little bit harder and sure enouhg, I broke off the key.I called a buddy out to come puch it into the hotel parking lot so it wouldnt get towed. we pushed it back out of the parking spot, I reached in to turn the wheel, and it locked up on me. damn safety features! It just so happens that this friend of mine's dad is an oldschool rodder, who just happens to have a built 1985 jimmy and a 15 foot car trailer. We called his dad up, and he came over to rescue me. Loading a car with the steering wheel locked is no easy task. Also, a bunch of drunk people from south were like swearing at me to move the car and shit so it wasnt too cool. We got it home and safe. ALl I gotta do is wait til tomorrow and go to ford and have a real key made from the VIN. I am not so sure that the key in there was the right one. My only hope is that the ignition wore the key down, and the key didnt wear the ignition teeth down. AND that the ignition is the factory one, otherwise, I have NO idea what I am going to do.

Just a couple modifications. We'll have to see what kind of condition the motor and turbo's in. I have a feeling the turbo's shot, if so i'll throw mine on there, it's in pretty good shape.

We ran the car and waited for it to start heatoing up to see where the prolbem was comign from. It appears that it has been in an accident and a support came back and damaged the radiator. I will need a new radiator, but atleast I know that the problem is comign from the radiator alone. I plan on going with the upgraded clutch and tomorrow I plan to head out to 7th to look for the tranny and radiator. Just updating your guys on the progress. My didgi cam isn't working right now, but when I get it working, I will post a buncha pics of damage, car, engine bay, etc... I talked to Mr. Miller(auto teacher) at school and he told me car quest has clutches but he didn't know if they had the upgraded ones. I plan on calling from school tomorrow morning to find out.
