The chip that I know how to install is a solder free chip thats pretty easy to install. It would cost you 30 dollars to have it installed (thats the chip and the instalation) and then the boot disks that you would need would be 30 bucks. I dont know how much shipping is right now, I would have to check on that if anyone is interested. Personaly, I love this mod chip. I have had no problems, and it has played every copied PS2 game that I can think of. Plus it allows you to play foreign DVD's without having to switch regions. Need any more info let me know

The only solderless chip I can get for X-box is the X-B.I.T Mod-Chip V1.5. It would be 70 bucks. Wow...Xbox chips are way more expensive than PS2 chips. I havnt found out yet if you need a boot disk with that chip or not.

thanks

I would definately sell you the mod chip. It is the PS2 no solder mod chip. Thats the official title. And the boot disks are Swap magic v3.2. With the boot disks, you put the boot disk in and a screen pops up that says "Insert Disk" Then you hold the eject button till it opens (dont just tap it) and put in the PS2 disk. The door will close ON ITS OWN after 10 seconds. Dont push eject again to close it. When the door closes on its own, wait a few seconds and push X. The game should then boot. Let me know if you want more info
