So i was looking online for solutions and one hit me....PUSH BUTTON IGNITION! I was just wondering if anyone has any hints or help before I start this. I am confident I can figure it out myself, but any help would be wonderful. I think I need 2 switches if I am going to bypass the key... An accesory switch, and a push button for the starter.
I dont have a manual so I can't fin any wiring diagrams, but I think I can figure it out.

Basically what happens is one side of the relay (Terminal #85 in my example) gets a continuous 12 Volts of power and the other side (Terminal 86)gets a switched Negative 12 Volts of power. When the above happens it closes the contact between terminal 30 (12 Volts Constant) and terminal 87 (Output to ignition circuit) (it might be terminal 87A...I forget which one is the center pin and which is the top pin off the top of my head...either way the top tab/pin is the one you need to connect to) and powers up the ignition circuit.

Like I said, i have a ton of these relays laying around my garage, so if you need a few I can let you have them for my cost.

Might just be easier to go to a junkyard and buy a new ignition cylinder that has a key already w/ it.

If not, it will be interesting doing the wiring. You are right, you will need a momentary pushbutton switch to attach to the starter wire(s) probably gonna be a black/yellow wire. As for the other switch you will need a toggle switch to be wired to at least 3 different relays.

Relay #1 will go to Ignition #1 (black/white wire) when activated
Relay #2 will go to Ignition #2 (black/red wire) when activated
Relay #3 will go to Accessory (blue wire) when activated

As for unlocking the steering, you might be able to just remove the stock ignition cylinder. Get a manual cuz I'm not sure how ford goes about removing them for this vehicle.

The downside to this is that anyone can steal your vehicle at any time if they can figure out what each switch does.

Or use a chisel if room allows. Once you get the ignition cylinder/switch assy out you can unscrew the two or three phillips screws holding the lock and tumbler to the switch itself. Wella, all you need is a screwdriver to start the beatch. Take the lock cylinder to a locksmith at your liesure and have him make you a key. Go to the parts store and get two bolts with the same pitch as the old bolts and bolt er back in. Hope this helps a little.
