It is a very nice bluish white color. As the bulbs age, the color temp will go down too. Stock color temps are in the 4300k to 6000k range, which results in a yellow to white color. the bright yellow ones you see are around 3000k. So if you are going for a "show" kinda look and like the purple color, then 10000k is the one you would want but you wont benefit much from the light output as a 6 or 8.

Looks to be 8000K, but I know that they sold 10000K ones too.
