In addition to all the parts I am buying I am planning on custom making a couple of my own, I don't know how many guys around here have EF's....but I will be making my own carbing style strut tower bars, and full traction bar setups that will give you BIG clearance and eliminate that nasty wheel-hop. I'm just throwing this out there because the CAD drawing will be in the works shortly, and I wanted to know if anyone was interested.

hey, that's great if you are making these for yourselves, but if you plan on selling them you'd better talk to your lawyer and get some product liablity insurance (easily $10- $20k a year for what you are proposing). There's a reason good chassis parts cost money- just my $.02
good luck

Just curious, what authority do you have to be giving this advice out? I've never heard of anything like this and would just like to cover all my bases. Thanks

he doesnt need a lawyer he needs a product copy write for his own product. he put them on his car...or going to...but hes not selling them nation wide or in any retail store there for he does not need liability insurance just a copy write. maybe he would need the liability insurence if he went global with his product..maybe not global but national

Haha...I will probably try to get a feel for H-T, but there are already a couple guys on there selling the product. I do have to purchase the radius rod ends from a shop, but the rest of the costs will be strictly materials. I will have a final product finished by January, as this is going to be done over x-mas. I should also be able to add benen-style tow hooks if anyone is interested. These ARE jay-dee-em y0!
Benen-style tow hook on mine please. Man this is going to be sweet!

Ok that makes way more since, fucking HT. Ok great it sounds like we can work something out, thanks Sean. So you are using CAD to design it then you are going to weld them? I hope your selling these on HT they would eat that shit up, just tell them they are JDM SIR.

When I say EF I am referring to EF8...the crx. Incorrect code, I know...but honda-tech has gotten the best of me. Yeah, I could make them to fit your 88 perfect, since I'm designing this off a 89 crx we should have NO problem. Maybe we could work something out with the parts on my end, and letting me use your shop occassionally on your end? Garages aren't cutting it for me, and my shop is an hour away.
Why would you make traction bars for the CRX when other companies w/ true engineering experience such as Full Race already make them?

Do you know how much a full race traction bar costs? I can make it for 15-20% of that. I've seen the Full Race setup, it's not a mechanical marvel or anything. It's a hollow chromoly tube welded to brackets that replace your town hooks, and radius rod arms that bolt to the stock location.
