I have been unable to find something cheap that is worth driving so I figured what the hell, and I dragged my old 87 Conquest out of the backyard. Needed a new fuel pump and injectors, and it runs great.

Just got to put a fartcan on it since the old muffler is long since gone, gather up 4 matching wheels and tires, get the power windows and pop up headlights working and I am set.

Ya I know its a piece, but what the hell, its one more conquest that won't rot away in someone's yard.

Going to get a new cat back exhaust put on monday.

I am running about 8lbs of boost now, wonder how much more it can handle?

It still is kind of ugly, but I got a set of new mirrors and headlight motors on the way. My air damn is missing but not sure if its worth $300 to replace it, and I have a new front bumper cover for it too.

I need to clean up the paint and find a way to remove 9 years of tree sap.

Going to do anything about the rust? If I were to drive it that be the first thing I fix that and alittle paint.
Once you start driving a rwd turbo car you wont want to drive anything else.
Wait, you STILL havn't got your supra back?

You have more patience than I do.

I took it for a few short spins and damn you can tell it has 175hp and 225tq because it hauls ass and the limited slip diff, works awsome.

It purrs like a kitten and takes off like a bat out of hell :icon_cheers:

Now just go to buff out the paint a little, may be shot but still could be shiney, and touch up the nicks. I am excited.

By the way, how do you do a boost controler. I am not too savy on the turbo cars.

But I got new plugs, wires, cap rotor, etc... to install to night.

This car hasn't been on the road since 1998, so it will need some tinkering to get running good, but otherwise has good oil pressure.

Ya they are the stock mesh wheels, and I have 4 of them. Only problem is I have 4 front wheels, it didn't come with the wide rear wheels, so it kinda looks funny. Whould look nice on a conquest without the flared body. I plan on putting a set of the stock 5 spoke wheels on it, since I have 2 diecent 9in rears and 9in fronts.

zomg! I wonder what people did when the only option was RWD!?!?!?!

RWD in the winter is fine if you put weight in the vehicle, good tires and a driver who isn't a retard
