I did fuck that sentence up didn't I? What I meant is that you can still pull as fast a time with a manual trans. But reproducing that same feat is gonna be alot harder to do if not next to imposible because of user error if nothing else.

I went from 11.9s to 11.4 this year, but unlike Faul I left the nitrous (and the big turbo) at home. 😛

ye, shane has me on 1/4 mile times...much props! I think I have him on 1/8 mile though (8.15) the last time I raced this year (in harvey...also cut a perfect reaction time...twice 😄 ) which was .6 seconds faster through 660 feet than I did in sabin when I ran my 13.1. Again, not hating on shane, he has a very nice, very clean car....and done right in my opinion. Hard to argue w/ a car that is a daily driven car that runs 12.7's at the track and wins awards at HIN and autovations.:eek:

Going from a 10's to low 9's. I think Nate is next with the only 4 cylinder car in the 10's...even though it is AWD..:) I'm not sure who the fastest fwd is. I knocked over 5 tenths off my last years time. I went from a 11.77 to a 11.25. So close to 10's, but no more season left to let her rip.

If that was the case i woulda just kept the Talon because i already had a solid platform and a solid setup. I get bored to easily w/ things and like to start something new so i purchased the integra started to make that into a race platform and went all the way down to a 13.0 on a stock 160k longblock w/ a 65 shot of nitrous. I came across a better deal on the current hatchback i got so i decided to sell the integra and start on that. Who knows by next spring i may even have something different.
