I started installing the cam and longtubes on my 93 gt. I ran into a snag though .........a bolt had broken of in one of the heads. Tried to drill it out but no go so i had a machine shop fix it. Cmk knows....... it was ugly. New gaskets from the heads up. It will fire up sunday evening. It will be glorius. Ran it, checked for leaks.......lil coolant but it was fixed. Other than that it sounds sweet. As for the pipes i have the matching H-pipe just no cat-back system. I appericeiate all of the info though. Christian when i bought the car last summer it had a ghettofied cat-back sys. No h-pipe just individual pipes welded to the shorties.</p>

What are you doing with your old h-pipe?</p>

Been there done that, oh, a whole bunch!:)  It may not run quite right either if you have no pipe behind the header, the O2s cool off so fast they become inaccurate and can stay stuck in open loop, or read inconsistently.</p>

As for the intake and stuff that will be next winters project. The headers are MAC 1 5/8 and the cam is ford racing E-303<br />
(282 duration and .498 lift). Im curious how much the Hp and torque will increase. Guess i'll have just have to wait until theis white stuff off the roads.</p>
