I have a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II that I am parting with. It has just rolled over 130,000 miles. It runs and drives great, and is my daily driven vehicle. It has had regular oil changes and maintenance done. Since I have owned it I have replaced the water pump, starter, and put a brand new optima battery in it. It has new tires all around, including the spare. It has a leather interior with heated seats, dual sunroofs (front and rear), cold weather package, and the towing package. Has a Compustar autostart with 2 remotes. The exterior is in near perfect condition and the interior is in great shape with very minimal flaws that can be easily fixed. I'm sure there is more that I am forgetting and will update with more information if I can think of it. The truck is currently located in Fargo, ND and title is clean and ready to go. I can meet a serious buyer at a reasonable location. I'm asking $6,500 or best offer. I'm not going to be needing my DD soon so i'm going to throw it up for sale and see what happens. Car: 1997 VW Golf GTI Miles: 133k ish Engine" 2.0 4 cyl Trans: 4 spd manual (should be 5, get there in a sec) Pros: Good CD MP3 deck, sat rad, new tires this year, all new brakes this year, KN intake, Full Coilover suspension, leather interior, working sunroof, nicknamed Adolf because it conquers and it is German Cons: Exhaust has a leak and one of the hangers is broken underneath, so it rattles inside the car, isn't loud, i had a stock muffler put on, needs patching up. Car has gears 1-4 and reverse. On the way to work 5th just all of a sudden "went out" not sure where it went. I didn't care and drove it that way for the last month of work. Skinny: Decent car. Never let me down. Drove it 110 miles to and from work every day for the last school year, never missed a beat. Needs a new trans. Engine is noisy, but runs perfect and has been that way for the time i have had the car, put 27k miles on it in the 10 months i have owned the car. Shipping out to basic in a couple months, don't need it. Price: 1500$ - It needs a trans but works as is. Take it and put a trans in it, will work for another 130k. Trans are cheap. The guy before him put Si Blades on it, other than that is completely stock with the stock y8 still in it. The car has very little rust on it. what you see in the picture is all of it, there is nothing else on the car that has rust. The bottom side of the car has a heavy undercoat I assume is aftermarket. To be nice the car would need: front bumper drivers side skirt This is a ND car which means no salt, which means less rust. In the last 4 years(when my customer owned it) it has had a new battery, new blower motor, new catalytic converter and flex pipe, Postcat 02 sensor, front and rear brakes, and many other things that I forgot already. The guy was by no means a "car guy" and just wanted a good reliable car. The guy neglected to change/check oil and spun the bearings, seizing the motor. I drained the oil and there are copper flakes in the old engine oil, and the crank will not turn. Here are some pics. I am currently on the search for a good y7 or y8 block. If I find one, I will be making this thing run again, but If I can sell it quick for 800 bucks, I will take the money now. Wheels are Si blades with brand new regency all season tires. No haggling, if you don't have 800 bucks, don't bother contacting me.
