well, yes and no. the Romanian PSL is a dragunov "style" rifle but is a totally different action than the real SVD. The Real SVD is illegal in the US and is a $5-6000 USD weapon. About 100 were imported years ago and then it was blocked at the federal level. So people that refer to PSL's as Dragunov's or SVDs are doing so erroneously, but it is a commonly made error A PSL is much cheaper and uses an AK style action, but looks the same as an SVD and uses a similar optic.
