Shit, I went through the fence at mickleson, and hit the scoreboard this winter. The city wanted $1500 for the fence, i went and got an estimate for $450 from fargo fence. The city just likes to rip people off.

just wait until school starts up this fall, most will be too busy with full-time college or what's left of their high school years

ok, the car that i had my eye on needs too much suspension work to be a worthy purchase (86 camry). great engine, great car overall, but the steering and suspension leave something to be desired, would make a great grocery-getter or to-and-from-work-only car

It was a 1g MX6, 282,000 miles. 2.2L Turbo. Got it for $800. Gorgeous car. I've still got some pics that i'll try to get scanned. We put on a 300ZX hoodscoop (early 300Z) on the driver's side to make it functional, installed a 3" turbo-back (crush-bent) with 3" cat, Dynomax race muffler. It was actually pretty quiet. Installed a 1g DSM BOV, hacked some air silencers, advanced timing a bit and first time at the track with a slipping clutch she ran some 14.6s at 95-97mph. Not bad for 8psi. Owner got a DSM shortly afterwards and built it instead. Shame, nice car. Just got it repainted too. We ended up installing a new turbo, rebuilt head before it was abandoned. Wiz

Oh, and if anyone else is driving a 6i or 6s, be sure to check out www.mazda6club.com and www.mazda6tech.com. The second site is slow but filled with good information. There are a only couple of people in ND that I know of with a 6 on those boards, one person in GF and one in Minot.

Hey guys, Thanks for the good words. I might make it up to the Interstate Dragways sometime. It is farther than BIR or Rock Falls for me, but I'm always interested in other tracks. I know a lot of the DSM guys coming up there for the MN Mayhem event. I'll admit I dump way to much mulha into my cars, but its worth it. Its an addiction. But lets face it, there are worse addictions. Hope to see some of you at the All Mitsu Cookout. I think we have 2 or 3 from the Fargo area signed up. later, Curt

my bike has a full hindle carbon system powercommander ohlins steering damper frame sliders and it had a speedscreens mirror red windsheld but that was runied in my mishap. i had it down at the track last summer and my best time was in the low 11s and i ran a 15 sec quarter mile in a wheelie and i found out the officials didnt like that but thats about all thats done to my bike
