With a moron like Balmer running it, it's no wonder

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but Balmer's actually a decent guy, I met him a few years ago. Scott McNealy (Sun CEO) on the other hand, is not that great of a guy.

Of course, they each could of been having an unusual day and Scott would actually be the nice one and Steve the jerk-off. Tough to tell in 15 minutes

            I'm being sarcastic 🙂

I posted it just to show you how motivation and dedication can persevere over anything. Look at him 15 years ago, and today. Pretty amazing. Our project group spoke with Balmer 2 years ago at the upper plains technology convention when he spoke, he took many of the ECE/CS students and spoke on campus as well. Interesting guy, but I had to post the clip 🙂 I laughed my ass off for hours.

Never met Scott McNealy, but I don't think your the only one who has ever stated that before. Numerous people before have stated about Sun's upper management "cynicism" brewing all the way up to the CEO which would be Scott himself. Just various articles I've read especially on his behavior with oracle's business practices after being confronted on a possible backbone building process where both companies can at least support each other (which Microsoft is now comitting to) but once again, just words never saw anything firsthand.

yea, like thatd be cool if you knew these guy were goin to be the richest in the world...so you just start hanging out with them one day, carrying their books to class and what not. getting on their good side so now youd be living in a huge mansion with everything invested for just being a help out pal a few hours a day.

Microsoft employs the most millionaire secretaries of any company in the world. During their first few years of operation they were given the option of Xmas bonuses or Company Stock. Almost everyone took company stock...it paid off.
