Intersate drag ways

So today I went out to the track to have some fun and make a few passes in my NA civic. I saw no other imports out there ,wtf you guys dont like racing... what are you all a bunch of ricers? We have been locked in doors all winter and days like today you have a chance to light up the tires and blast down the track and no one shows up...:icon_scratch:
Silly ricers...
today went like this:
17.5 couldnt hear my can next to the v-8 and over revd on the line and spun to a 2.8 60 foot... Ouch I felt like i forgot hoe to drive...
16.5 wow better but i still suck... same thing happined...
15.3 finally a decent run.. on 40 psi of tire pressure...
dial'd in at 15.1
15.0 Fuck too fast, I go home... tire pressure down to 22 psi and cut .3 off last run..
Hope next time I go to the track it runs 12.5 or better..

i didnt know either. is interstates dragway back upYes its back up, I was working saturday in the tower all day. Im an announcer there as well as my other job at the shop. On saturday all I saw import wise was a supra that wasnt much of a supra anymore, but he also did not run it down the track at all. full cage, etc. i didnt ask him what he had in it drivetrain wise, because well, i spent the day in the tower working. haha. I had to take today off though since i had to bolt out of town for the day.
the prices are
Test and tune $60
Trophy class $40
Jr. Dragster $20
Bikes or sleds $40
Sportsman class $45
Pro ET class $65
Super Pro class $75if you just want to lay down a few passes, it'd probably be better to wait until a tintmaster day, I know on tintmaster day its quite abit cheaper, but to my knowledge they havent published the price for that as of yet. But June 3rd is the scheduled first Tintmaster day. I'm going to aim to have my charger ready to lay down some rubber on either June 17th or July 8th tintmaster day.

Hey! Whaddiya mean it's not much of a Supra anymore! LOL It's got all original driveline except it has a Powerglide tranny. We just got the chassis certified on Sat, the car isn't done, hoping to get it finished in a few weeks. -

No worries. It didn't have any glass or headlights in it yet, so I suppose it did look like a shell.Interstate really needs to do some advertising, when the car guys in the area don't even know when the races are, thats a bad thing.
