isnt there any companies that do the exchange thing where u send ur tranny in and they send u one built? or are u not lookin for off the self stuff?
There are a couple companies that allow you to do that, but alot of people I know have had problems with those companies, going through 3 or 4 transmissions a year, running not too much more hp than I am running right now. This place had the best track record, thats why I sent it there.Other than that, my options are to build it myself with a friend (cheapest, yet probably the most unreliable)
Have a local shop build it. I hear of so many people having so little luck with this, I don't really want to do it.
Have a very very high end shop build one for ~$3000-$4000.
Or, swap in a th350 or 400 and lose my overdrive.
Or, put it back in the car, and leave the car basically stock (no stall, no N20)

Give Dale Larson in Devils Lake a call he's the best trany guy I know has his own shop now for a few years where he went out on his own the only problem is he's always busy might take a while to get in with him.... and he's a roder so if you want it built up more he can do it
