Made some decent progress with the Probe this weekend. Started running some more boost, but the car is blubbering rich (we think), can't get the damn datalogging to stay on past the launch so we didn't get any useful information or tuning done. Still, we picked up 1.5 seconds from the first weekend out. More to come soon I think.

looks like it is coming along very nicly...J/W how come the car doesn't launch as hard as the supra does? Is it just to set up the suspension, or is it to get used to the car? sorry if this is a dumb question...

The reason for the lack of zest out of the hole is I need to launch with some serious boost. When Dave launches his supra, it is with more boost than I'm running right now. We are taking it slow...making sure it doesn't take a right hand turn into the wall. We made some chassis adjustments this weekend and it seemed to respond well. I'm going to get it on the dyno hopefully this next weekend to get it tuned with more boost, so then I can just concentrate on chassis stuff at track and not engine tune. If I can improve 1.5 seconds every time at the track, I'll have 9's soon!!

That is sweet! That thing should really move once the boost is turned up, going 11.45 @ only 118 is pretty impressive.
