I probably have to work that day, just like every other fucking 4th of July. I asked for it off 2 months ago and my head manager told me i'll still have to work a short shift that day probably. Make the meeting spot East10 McDonalds instead

i know exactly what u mean dustin. there are ways around working, ur family is going out of town and u have to go regardless, if u asked for it off at mcdonals and tell them that ur pretty much good to go, and u wont be there at all, thats all i have to say and they listen.

I accidentally made the mistake of telling her that i'd be willing to work a SHORT daytime shift if i had to. She said im first on the list of people waiting for that day off so if there is ANY openeing that means someone could have the day off, i get it. Its just that im one of the few people there that actually is worth what they pay me (sad) the rest just suck at life for the most part, so they overwork me at my expense.
