Pimp & Daewoo if that's not an Oxymora I don't know what is (by their cheap history anyway)....

LOL yep another Solstice that actually looks good funny how the orignial looks like crap but the others on the same plateform look good specially considering that the other 2 (daewoo & saturn) have been known for cheap no-passion in the design car's

is GM in a move to make their known nameplates (chevy, pontiac...) to their cheap line and move the backburner nameplates to the head of the line in an attempt to help turn themselves around? hummmm

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

knew that, but they've been making the speedster turbo for longer than the ecotec platform has been out. just figured it probably had something else in it.

how do you think the pontiac/saturn roadster came about?

                just like the GTO

Daewoo is a Korean company, Im assuming its good business sense on GM's part to sell cars under its Korean brand name. I wouldnt expect to see one turn up in the US any time soon. I think the only reason you see a Saturn roadster is because Saturn is the GM nameplate for "cheap" and they want it to appear that anyone can own a sporty roadster.

the sky IS affordable for anyone with a half ways decent income... If I really felt Like owning one, I could afford it! I think that the solstice/sky could be sold for 5k more and would probably still sell almost as good. They seem to be really reliable from what I have talked to people/ read on forums, very low maintenence and good on gas. I forsee the roadsters taking off big within a year or so. Also, I bet they will be one of the highest resale-value keeping american-made cars
