Not really old since the trial is going on and this is all over the news, nationaly. I think they should be punished pretty hard beacuse its like A. They knew what they were doing. B. They obviously don't have any morals because they posted it on the internet.

Those kids just need a good beating and I guarantee they will never do something like that again. Put the fear of god in them early and shit wont happen like this later in there life..... lol.

One was 18, the other was 17. They are pretty much adults. If they are old enough to drive a car they are old enough to know not to light animals on fire. :icon_thumright: Thing i dont get is why the 2 are getting punished but obviously there is someone else that was taping it.:icon_scratch:

Animal abuse often leads to abusive behavior later in life. Try them as adults and make them spend a few months in the state pen.

I honestly believe that they should change laws (which many states sort of are) so that you are tried as an adult above the age of 16 and, depending on the type of crime, younger. The "they are kids they didn't know any better" line is 100% bullshit. I would have known at the age of 12 easily that lighting a turtle on fire with gasoline or anything like that is bad, and i'm sure most of you would too. Obviously they dont deserve the death penalty for it but they don't deserve a slap on the wrist either.
