i need help!

ive racked my brain trying to figure out wat the hells wrong with my 1g tsi. it starts fine when its cool and u can drive it around all u want but if u shut it off and let it sit for more then 20 mins, the next time u start it its REALLY lean and wont come out of it when u give it gas and it just sits n backfires after awhile a check engine light comes on and has the CAS code. So i replaced the CAS....didnt help, re-did the wiring....didnt help, replaced the ECT, coil packs, spark plugs n plug wires...... didnt help. some one plz shed some insite

Do yourself a favor and follow these steps closely. 1. fill a gas can with gas. 2. take the can of gas and pour it all over the car. 3. light a match. 4. throw the lit match at the gas soaked car. 5. watch all your current and future problems disappear before your eyes! and 6. if you're good, file an insurance claim and get paid for the car. LOL Troy, you have no love for the DSM's!! See if you can borrow an ecu from someone to plug in and try out.

thank you for the suggestion troy but i think ill try a diff ecu. does neone know where i can get a 1g A/T turbo ecu?
