having said that, long live chuck norris:icon_salut:I once heard that Chuck Norris rode in a civic. When the driver hit VTEC, Chuck was so scared that he round house kicked himself in the face and made himself promise never to be in a VTEC powered vehicle again. That was back before VTEC was even invented. That's just how badass VTEC really is.

^ peter, OMGDude, our central GA board (MaconRacers) had a thread going on for pages making up shit like this about VTEC. Actually, the whole thread started w/ the Cobra owner saying that GTO's are slow, and it evolved to my friend making up goofy VTEC sayings, to making fun of Volkswagen designs, etc.
The 2 guys that came up with most of the stuff was 1) a Cobra owner (surprise!) and then my buddy Matt (12 sec Civic). It was hilarious.
I'd post the link, but I don't think everyone here would appreciate it that much since they don't know anyone on there, haha!

Where did u get those jokes? There funnier than hell.Haha, my friends were coming up with them on our board back in GA.
I'll share some more.

B18C turbo Civic owner:
you have far more superior wisdom than myself...i am guessing you have fought many battles with the creators of vtec. they are a powerful bunch, usually over taking you in massive numbers and trying to confuse you with the crazy work ethic of their native soil.i hear they are deathly affraid of v6 mustangs though
04 Cobra owner:
I spent 2 years living in a straw hut on a mountainside in tibet. While there, a prodigy of the dali lama himself imparted upon me gem after gem of ancedotal wisdom. I learned many things....things passed down centuries. They can explain 99% of the anomalies that occur on earth. The last 1% that eludes them, and thusly keeps them from reaching the point of total enlightenment, is VTEC. I doubt stephen hawking, einstein, da vinci, and ron pompeil in a think tank could come anywhere close to explaining the intricate system known as VTEC.
In ancient times, the aztecs worshipped the sun. A little known offshoot of the aztecs was the udunga klan. They worshiped the god of VTEC. Each week they sacrificed 2 cattle, 2 chickens, and 2 heads of cabbage to appease him.
Scientists speculate that VTEC formed as the earth cooled, shortly after the big bang. It was here before, and will be here after humans have ended. Perhaps one day a super alien race will land on the hollowed and desolate shell called earth. When they do, they will surely stumble upon VTEC. They will wonder how such an advanced civilization that possesed VTEC could simply vanish. Little do they know VTEC will be their demise as well.Civic owner (again):
wow.....i had no idea...vtec is serious
