Cruise / Hangout to DL on the 4th

I'll be there, Rx8ownage, would you like to race your STI from a dig? Just wanna see what my car does against the STI I've already raced a few, considering my car costs 10-15k less and has just basic mods it should be a fun race

My buddy and I are planning on going there for the 4th. Figure out a time that you guys plan on leaving. Should be fun. The radio says the bikini contest is at 8pm.

stupid question but u guys talkin about Detroit Lakes or Devils Lake:)

100% positive they are talking Detroit Lakes. Devils Lake isn't normally referred to as DL in Fargo/Moorhead. Don't feel bad I always have to stop and think about it for a second too (I'm from the Devils Lake area originally and therefore am used to hearing it refered to as DL). General rule of thumb is that if someone says DL on this board they are talking Detroit Lakes.

I get off at 6 on Sunday, and I'm definitly game for hittin the DL strip. Maybe I'll race those kids and give them some bate, then we can split the money, Jim Joe kirk... LOL

when you get yours maybe I'll be motivated too buy one and get it immediately and we can have a group install. Thats how I've done my previous mods, group install baby
Jim, I'd love to cruise down with ya guys, just give me a time so I can arrange it. I don't work on the weekends but I have plans with the girlfriend so I just like to plan things in advanced ya know? If the time's don't work out I have your cell phone # and we can meet up.

I have the FMIC sitting in my house right now, and my CAI should arrive today. Unless you can get same day delivery, you're not likely to be ready to install it by the time I am (tonight/tomorrow). Hope to see everyone this weekend.

Well the story goes I was speeding on the interstate between 70-90 and I saw a cop going the other direction and he turned around so I floored it up the on ramp and pulled into a parkin lot hoping he wouldnt see me. Well he saw me and made me get out of the car and then peocedeeded to handcuff me and tell me I was going to go to jail for a felony of evading the police. I would have had to go to the jail if my parents werent home and came to pick me and the car up. So they were pissed off as ou can imagine so now they are selling my car, which really sux. I have to go to court for all of this but then we will see what happens.

Hmmm I go to DL for the 4th every year but this will be my first year with a decent car to have down there. How about you guys plan a time and place to meet up sunday morning and ill prolly show up and follow you guys down.
Id also like to meet some of you guys I know absolutely no one in fargo with cars. Although last night I was following a 91-93 stealth R/T TT AWD that I had raced for a nice lil ass kicking ( 170hp N/A SVT focus vs 300hp TT Stealth yeah funny race ) And a dude in a silver STi.
So a time and place would be cool and yeah leaving early morning is a good idea to get a good spot on the strip.

Where should we all meet up? Somewhere near Highway 10 would prob be a good idea...
Walmart in Dilworth has a gas station, and could be a quick stop for anybody wanting to pickup snacks or anything.
Let me know if this sounds like a good place to meet... We should get a list of everyone planning to attend, and I'll PM my cell number to all them.
