WRXGSXR, since your dad used to own an exotic dealership. I've got a friend who's looking for a Porsche GT2. He is haven't trouble finding one with dealership around the country. Any idea on this? Thanks

While at motor magic, I stopped by the park and there was a big amos50h trailer there. I know brad stye(spelling) and used to work at DSK8 on 45th in S. Fargo. From what I hear, you guys run a pretty sweet shop/team. Theres always a couple guys milling around the park in Fargo sporting your shirts. Welcome to the boards man. Ok...I was out for most of the day so I will answer all the questions in one post.
First. the GT2...Those are very hard to find used obviously. The only place they are plentiful used is in Orlando FL. There is a Manheim Auto action there that does all exotics. Its awesome. Maybe if he focused his search down there he could find one. Other than that they are few few few and far between.
Second....what was second again...O yeah...400whp...HA yeah right. mine was crank walking at not even 300whp. Spun the main berrying twice. The second time it did it so bad that it ovaled the crank. Anyway the first gen motors are beefy as hell...they might handle that kind of power, but not the 7 bolts. They are a timebomb just waiting to happen. I went to a 6 bolt on the new motor.
By the way..this is just my experience talking...I am not trying to offend anyone, or make myself out to know everything...all I know is I have blow up two of them within a month of eachother.Third: yeah we were up at Motor Magic that was awesome we had a great time. Watching all the drags and the autox and the car show...almost too much for a guy to take in in one weekend. I am very glad to hear that you have heard good things about my shop. We try hard to run a tight ship. You should give me your address and I will ship you out a new 5-oh shirt.
Forth: I am lost on the whole props thing.

Hey this is Matt from williston, I believe I met you in Bis a few weeks back. I raced that GTP...
Will have to rematch taht one next year sometime when I get tuned worth a crap. Got my fuel leak fixed after teh race (ghey summit guage) and have found why I was only running 15psi, my Tubular manifold is cracked along the 5th runner for teh wastegate:(
So got some things to work out on the car and then hopefully me and him can have anotehr fun run. The last 2 races were pretty even, but travis doesnt know how to tape a race, he taped my dash the whoel time, what a clown lol.As far as everyone asking about the Yellow supra, she lives up here in Williston now at an Apartment buildign behind herman oil. The car was sitting on the side of the road about 2 months ago and is now at the apartment and hastn moved since, lol.
