Opinion on a car I might get
-
There is nothing wrong with the car in genarel. Its just that most of the hondas you see are driven by major DB's you just have to look at them and know there db's lol with there sideways hat and polo shirts TRYING to look cool. Plus ive always been a die hard ricer hater but with a dieing car I dont have much of a choice. I will admit if I get it I will do some thing to it but NO body kits or giant wings or neons. I might get black houseing headlights and tails mabey black rims if I want to keep it a while cause I think blacked out cars look cool. The real trick is guna be finding and exaust system that dosent have a load winey ricer sound lol.

I have a '98 Accord. If the one you looked at is an automatic, don't buy it. The 6th gen Accords have HORRIBLE automatic transmissions, trust me. There are exhaust systems that don't sound too bad, especially for the 2.3l Accord in comparison to the average 1.6l Civics you see with aftermarket exhaust. If you have any general questions about 6th gen Accords, let me know.

lol like I care im not trying to look cool unlike them. It is an automatic. But thats fine with me im not much of a manual driver as of now otherwise I would have picked up a 97 legacy gt limited that was in DL. Im not aiming to be a speed demon I just want to get around and look alright doing it ya know. Plus it will probabley only be a temporary car till spring.

Im kinda stuck. My car is showing signs of a failing head gasket as there known for and The heater is shot ( it has been for years) and I dont want to go another winter with out a heater lol. So im stuck having to find a car befor mine dies or the snow flys. As I said the chance of finding the Subaru I want is grim so I have to find somthing and it has to be black (thats not the only thing but its number one lol) This car is super clean. Here is the dealers notes on it for this that are new and such.
Very nice car inside and out. Very clean inside and out. Thoroughly reconditioned car with the Vtech motor. Has had a complete tune. New front brakes and rotors. Both of the rear hub assemblies have been replaced and rear brakes checked. New battery and two new tires. Oil and transmission fluids have been changed. Both the A&B transmission solenoid packs have been replaced. This car rides and drives like new and is ready for another 100,000 miles with a new owner.HandoEX wrote:

What dealer has this by chance? Some of the aftermarket dealers around here know jack and shit about cars and quote anything on the window just to sell it. Ya, the rear brakes may have been checked but how throughly? Did they just look through the wheels? There are a lot of used car dealers that do just that.
As for dbag Honda owners, ya, there are a lot of them. There are also a lot of dbag GM, Ford, Chrysler, German and others. They are everywhere. Only thing you can do is get something you like and will appreciate. Dont judge your car buying expierence solely based on the "typical" driver of that kinda car. You have to keep in mind that there are hundreds of thousands of these Hondas around, and maybe 5-10% of them are dbags, 20% are riced out, etc etc but it is nearly equally the same for other car makes too. And yes, these statistics are pulled out of my ass but are also kinda based on experience of what I have seen and worked on.
So go and have someone you trust drive this car too. Find someone you know (preferably an actual Technician) look at the car and see what all is wrong and may be needed. Then decide whether you really want it or need to keep on looking. That generation Accord is in its "prime" for dropping in price/value right now due to all the new makes coming out. Keep a real good eye out for book values too. Goodluck in your decision and hope that it isn't a dbag one too.
