Does anyone on here know what a stack fault is? My computer here at work went to a dos screen said I need to add something to prevent more stack faults, I was able to just hit ant button went bsk to previous screen but is running way slow now, any ideas?.......this thing is an old dinosaur hp(hewlett packard), windows 98 scratchin my head here:icon_scratch:

gotcha, unfortunately the boss man says a new comp in in the shop office here would get too dusty, so now he is getting a new and I get another hand me down, but better than this dinosaur..........goin gallagher on this thing right after lunch (12lb sledge style) office spaceII return of the stapler ........wahooooooo

I'm moderately sure it means your computer is running low on available RAM as jim said, and the stack fault means that something like your subroutines and active useage is getting mixed around, first is being handled 5th, out of order. kinda like insanity, subconsious overlaying consious thought into a cluster fuck.
At least thats what i got out of the computer nerd friend's lecture when i ran what i remembered from your post past him.
Time for new comp or more RAM
or just do a google search
