    More than likely:

Low restriction exhaust, non-recirc. BOV (HKS SSQV, if my ears serve me right), prolly running a bit on the rich side.

Plus RB's are known for shooting some decent sized flames, even with a cat. Ask Phats about that one. 😉

Man I love the sound of the RB series...best sounding I-6 engines ever, IMO. Maybe not the best at making raw power, but dammit they have an exhaust note that can't be matched.

The launching on the dyno thing is probably a result of whatever carbon 3 plate clutch they're using to hold that power and has no in-between go and stop

                  wouldn't ya think

No, that wasn't just a dyno pull. He pulled through every gear...

Taken from the GT-aRt website about this R-33:

To test what this monster of a car was capable of, it was taken to Bruntingthorpe proving ground, two sets of timing equipment were set up near the end of a two mile straight. On each run the speed was increased and the car was checked, finally we reached a speed that was safe for the limited two miles we had, checked the times against each other and took the lower of the two. This was 211 mph, not bad for a car that you can use every day.

Yup, i whole heartedly agree, not sure how many have heard a RB with no exhaust at the top of the rev range, but, i like it. 😄

oh and the flame thing isn't as bad as my rx-7 was........my bumper isn't melted yet 😉

I guess it's time for me to stop slacking...time to upload some Time Attack videos from the UK.
