Shit nova for you to beat evo you would have to jack his engine transmission and leave it sitting on blocks... even then you would have trouble beating him.
Theives suck... balls... never been broken into, but have been subject to vandalism. 2 weeks after I bought my last brand new car... some asshole decides its funny to key it. And not just down a door it was all the way down the drivers side from front fender to rear fender around the trunk onto its lid back around the passenger side and stopped right before passenger door. It was so deep they had to blast the paint off bondo the surface and repaint it, and the asshole kicked a dent in the door. Cost nearly $2200 once it was done... fuckers. Thank god for insurance.

My wife studied to be a legal-assistant/paralegal and while she was in college her roommates (also a legal assistant) car got broken into and the CD Player was stolen along w/ 300 CD's while it was parked @ a NAPA service center. Her instructor (who was a prosecuting attorney) advised her that unless she was paying to store her car on their lot, NAPA was not liable for any damages that occured, unless she could prove that they were somehow directly involved w/ the break in.

if your car was being repaired by them and it was sitting there because they were awaiting a part (ie still in their posession), i'm fairly confident that it would be their fault for not providing ample security.

good luck with your car nova. Im pretty sure my car was broken into before i bought it and i think that is why there are 2 alarm systems on my car now. not that they really help that much anywase.
