Hey, what do you call that fuzzy stuff that you see on the dash of race (touring, wrc, gt) cars? I think it reduces glare or something. It looks like crushed velvet. Is there a place to get that stuff? I thought it might look cool on something I'm fiberglassing is all.

Looks kinda like this except for I think thats just the same sort of stuff that you would put on a speaker box. Come to think of it, what i'm looking for looks alot like the covering on that steering wheel.

Looks like velour to me. You can get that at any craft shop.

Really? For some reason I had it in my head that it was some special kind of covering.

On further research, it seems that this is a spray on material called 'flocking' applied in a similar 'electrostatic' manner to powdercoating, except using some sort of adhesive. I shall dig deeper.

You obviously did not get the joke, the flocking I posted was for you non-Jewish Christmas celebrating tree flockers
