nothing. AE86 is a body style. Toyotas equivelant of hondas Ef, ek, ex, etc. The GTS is the good 86, but the SR5 is also an AE86. sr5's are carbuerated single cams, GTS is a fuel injected dual cam.

That's what I was trying to say (SR5 vs GT-S). Same body, with different parts. Motor, wheels, suspension bla bla bla.

Don't forget the differential is not the same.

And I'm pretty sure the chassis code for the SR5 is AE85 (hachi-go), instead of AE86 (hachi-roku).

No. An SR5 is an AE86 and so is a GT-S. There IS a difference between an SR5 and a GT-S.

It's pretty simple. It's like just calling your DX an EK, and a CTR an EK. It has nothing to do with options, it is still an EK. You honda boys should understand this one better than anyone.
