i've put on shoe out on the interstate before doing 50 mph..and the bottom of my shoe was almost totally melted off....they must have some hard ass plastic sandals.

Also in many middle east countries the roads are covered in a film of oil/grease it is quite slippery. We could break the tires loose on some Humvees and that takes quite a loss of traction to do that.

i've done it in a sandal...and in a standard shoe.....and they both melted pretty quickly..
