The supercharger kit is actually really easy to put in a 3rd gen eclipse. My roommate has one, and he's looking to sell it this spring, if anyone is interested. It's for the 4g64.

dude my cavaleier culd leik kikc any car in teh ballz n poop in its face.. i once raced diz guy wit a skyline see heer in fargo n he had teh wurst acellleratoin ever n and totally raped him. im sure it was not jsut a maxima wit a body kit cuz it was kinda fAsT n stayed behind me prety well. i think i can prolly taek cobraz n vipers too.. proilly any car. but NOT eclipzes cuz thems aer FAsT! n kina furious cuz i gots a talon tsi too n my caveliar cant take it cuz its liek too COOL or osmenthe.

i've read that it still uses the 4g64 block... but a lot of other things are different

Yeah, the rs and gs are 4g64, 2.4 liter inline fours. The gt, gts are 6g72, V6. Same base engine as the 3000gt, and stratus se's, rt's all have 6g72's also. Thats is whe the ripp mods sds system works in status and eclipse, same car really.

Damn. I did not think they were still using those engines. I know the 6g72 got detuned a bit in GT and GTS form (versus the 220hp on an SL/RT), but is the 4g64 output in a 3rd gen Eclipse still 140hp?
