Since I Didn't Get A Chance To Post, I've Copied And Pasted My Essay!

I agree. Dude... stop being such a hater!
Don't deny it either, if you can't handel him telling you to fuck off when you PM something like this, then why do it publicly?
Your intentions are to rip on it, and why the hell does it even matter to you. Grow up dude. I'll leave the thread open in case nick wants to respond, but honestly its not even worth his time to respond to this bs.
PS until your welding is better then nicks, why are you ripping on his either way? I dont get it

also about the comment about rude service or what ever u were trying to say, when u go to a car lot with no money and no intentions to buy anything do those sales men bow down and kiss ur feet when u start looking at cars?same principle applys here, different industry but u put enough years into doing something you know when somebodys wasteing ur time
I personally don't care who welds the manifolds, but i will say this, i walked into SLS awhile back ready to buy something, they wouldn't give me the time of day, just said they didn't have any example to show me (didn't offer to let me know when they would, or give a similar choice/example) so i went online that same week and spent a little under $500 to get it from somewhere else. Now i typically like to buy local if possible and support the scene but im not going to be looked down about something and still support them. But i do respect the quality they put out, i was just dissappionted in the quality of customer service.

Joel you have made 2 comments on this matter aside from this post. Nick responded to your posts (and mine actually, where I was corrected in what I thought) in the "Black Blurr" section. I don't understand why you are beating a dead horse. Whoever welds those products is someone who was hired by SLS to do so, so technically they are SLS welds REGARDLESS of who does the welding. That is all that matters. Its not like he's hiring SS Autochrome to make stuff for him, so please drop this subject as it frankly is noone's concern except those who work for SLS, and of course Nick's.

Chuck fix your damn sig and get a different photobucket account to host it n00b

OH MY GOD, is this what Fargostreet has come to? as long as the product is good (not only looks good but functions well and holds up) i think it dont mater who welded it, well unless it's child labour and i don't think SLS is like that. With that said let the man and his business be and lets just all try to be the best at what we do. Ok kids dad's going to work now, be nice and don't pick on others.

WOW what a thread. Someone remind me what role Joel plays in creating, manufacturing and upgrading exsiting car products today?? Hhmmm...
Well I can't think of any other than puting some rust free civics on the FS market.
I currently have my 07 Apex there for a build in which Nick never thought twice about doing. It looks like a pain in the ass to me. But my point is that even if he doesn't do all of his welding he can probubly think up a turbo setup in his head like we think about tying our shoes (I know this can be tuff for some LOL).
Also how many of these performance shops pay any interest in you until you throw down some cash or show them that you are serious? ZERO. Its happened to me and I go elsewhere. Nick has been great to work with so far!inspector01 wrote:

I never once said I can weld better than Nick, Shit unless is a HF machine I can barely strike an arc. All I want to know is if he welds the manifolds... He doesnt have to tell me if he doesn't want. How hard is this to understand. Regardless of my intentions, all he has to do is answer the question. If he has no problem telling people about it, and it is no secret, why is everyone on my ass for asking about it.wannabe wrote:
That is the whole reason I made this thread. I am sick of everyone kissing the ground he walks on always saying he's such a bad ass welder,Personal attacks on a business because of your own inferiority of them makes me think therapy might be the only solution. Honestly, making a public statement about your disbelief that the mentioned company makes there products in house, all while only caring that you slander there name, is pretty low.
I'll say it for Nick,
"Get fucked," or get a life. Makes me wonder why you wouldn't be treated like royalty every time you entered there shop turbo or not???...

i think origionally this wasnt an attack, just asking a question? just what i got from reading this whole thing.

Hows about I just kill this thread entirely and we forget it ever happened?

Good stuff! Once again Joel like i've always said in the past you have no idea what you are talking about AGAIN! That downpipe you specifically pointed out, sorry to break it to ya but that was welded by me.
I have been producing parts now for roughly 7 years which started out w/ all the gauge bezels which you see fitted in about 90% of 1G DSM's which we're my designs and my creations, as seen here:
http://store.straightlinespecialties.com//index.php?cPath=25&osCsid=b781c3ebfbb80f6020b16f3305dfe14e
Roughly 5 years ago i started SLS in which we moved into our first 2400sq ft location in West Fargo. W/ the bezel market already going then i thus started fabricating DSM intake pipes and intake pipes while all doing our own powdercoating, as seen here (no longer build DSM IC pipes):
http://store.straightlinespecialties.com//index.php?cPath=29
Rougly 3 years ago we moved into our 2nd 3400sq ft location which i then started producing turbo manifolds, intercoolers, and so on, as seen here:
http://store.straightlinespecialties.com//index.php?cPath=30
http://store.straightlinespecialties.com//index.php?cPath=28Now in August of 2006 we moved into our 3rd location of 13,000sq ft in which i occupy roughly 10,000sq ft. To this date we manufacture ALL of our own products, we bring nothing in that we cant fabricate ourselves from turbo manifolds, downpipe, IC pipes, intercoolers to roll bars, this is what I AND SLS specialize in.
Point being is you have no idea who works here, what capabilities of myself or any other individual here has. We do all our own fabrication, installation, engine assembly, and now CNC part machining, if you have a problem w/ this then so be it but personally to me you DON'T MATTER! We sell parts NATION wide, we sponsor on forums such as Honda-Tech, TurboD16, DSMtuners, DSMtalk, EVOm, EVOtuners, CLubNA-T, we displayed a 300sq ft booth @ PRI a nation wide show w/ great success and we will continue to develop and fabricate new product for years to come, I HAVE JUST BEGUN!!!
Now to all have a good day, and Joel, go fuck yourself and continue to be the WANNABE you always have and will be!

Sweet, name calling is straight up professional... I don't really want to want to get into it again. But yes. I know YOU welded that downpipe, but I can just about 99 percent guarentee you dont weld most of the stuff you show pictures of. And you have yet to deny that and you keep beating around the bush... I didn't ask about where you came from, Nor did I try to deny the integrity of your business... I don't care that you can do all that cool stuff, more power to you. It's cool knowing we have a "world class" fabricator in town...
