Does skipping on an apartment ruin your credit? Last night was the second time my door has been run into/hit with a baseball bat at 2-4am. I went in and filled out a rerental form, but they are gonna try to f me up the A in bull shit rerantal charges, and shit. I know I will lose my security deposit, but since I don't OWE any thing for services they've provided, can they screw up my credit.

I know I never reported anyone for doing that, I was pretty easy going. I know it bothered the hell out of me though, and somebody a lot more anal might report it, turn it over to a collection agency and/or take you to small claims.

a lot of people get screwed by them, but its because they own half the town. theres a lot of people that have good experiences with them too.

I am seriously moving out because I honestly dont feel safe in my apartment anymore, I dont want to keep my valuables but mostly myself in my apartment.

Goldmark tried to charge my girlfriend $2000 in late fees and missing rent payments, but the thing is she never had a late payment or missed a rent payment.

I had someone fuck up my door trying to bust the deadbolt out 2-3 times. I just held out till the end then left damn fast. i did file a report with them but they didnt care. then they tried to charge me for repairing the door. at least they backed down on that one.

You'll most likely have to pay rent on the place until they get it rerented or pay a rerental fee. You signed the lease and it's a legally binding contract. If there are circumstances like that where you have to leave, it's basically up to the property manager to do whatever they want. They could be nice and let you break the lease right away and not pay anything, but most likely you'll end up paying a good amount of money to get out of it. I don't think it will screw up your credit, but it WILL DEFINITELY screw up your rental history, which most if not all places look into before they rent to you.
