How much is this computer worth?

the best would be if you could come up with the exact system specs Processor model, ram type and size and speed, mobo model number, HD sizes and types, and if there are any PCI or AGP cards in it, also power supply size.
All of those things could make the diff between it being worth50$( pretty much for the case and monitor) or 300 for a semi usable machine.

a 5 year old laptop is worth $100-200 depending on model. a used laptop is easier to sell. desktops are another story. extremely common and easy to buy a brand new one completely up to date. here is a link to a cnet review.... http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_Dimension_4600/4505-3118_7-30529709.html ....imho, id say $200 tops just because if you offer $300, you can easily find a model 10x better for $500.
