Everyone else's schools are cancelled, but I guess most of the students here live on campus. I almost fell on my ass so many times yesterday walking to classes, and whoever was plowing the snow plowed some good sized drifts infront of like every car, in my parking lot at least.

im sure the people who decide to close the schools are kicking themselves in the ass right now with how the weather turned out.

yes i agree if i didnt have a test no way in hell i would have gone from my parking lot to my first building is over half a mile and i might as well have brought ice skate because i could have used them the whole way

They don't cancel school for student safety I bet, I have a feeling they base the decision more on whether or not enough faculty can make it to campus safely. They probably assume 90% of the student body lives within a mile of campus so it's not that big of a deal for them to get there, unless it is super windy AND super cold AND super snowy, they won't cancel, period. It's only happened once in the last like 4 or 5 years...NDSU is stingy on cancellations.

seriously, grow some nuts. The weather wasn't even that bad. ALL of my instructors made it to class and even most the students. And for the people that have to walk to class cuz they live a block away and they're bitching....wow. I live in south Fargo and I made it to class....ON TIME!
