2007 Probezilla Updates
-
Just thought I would post a few updated pics on some "new stuff" on the probe this year.
I got the turbo compressor housing polished on the GT42 and will be switching to a larger turbine housing. 1.01a/r to a 1.15.

I polished a few more things on the car. I got the PT Intercooler polished as well as the radiator and another elbow coming off of the an IC pipe.

I got new custom Bogart wheels made for the front. I got them with max backspace for that size wheel. It sets them in more and I think looks better overall. I also narrow my ford 9 another 11inches and then got new 12 inch wheels with less backspace. I also have 31x10.5w full MT slicks as well.

I'm switching to hall sensor so I can run good TT cams etc. This shows the sensor and the new Titan cam gears. I'll be running 272 cams this year. (hopefully they show up) I'll be getting a SFI crank pulley too.

I added a shift light as well as a Innovate Wideband O2 and gauge.

Had to add the chute and pull lever.

Tried to get a fiberglass hood for it, but noone makes one.

Dave and I put in another set of stock rods and new set of bearings. Replace the broken piston that was damaged from the rod bending. Should be ready to lower the stock NA block ET record some more.

Should be a fun year again!!

I have to give Matt tons of credit. He never half assed anything, and the overall project was difficult. Not only is it an amazing drag car, it is also a fine piece of craftsmanship. Everything is neat and tidy. It shows what you can do if you take your time. Good luck.
