what kinda sub are you planning on using in this?

looks like he wants a box w/ sub...since he is looking for either a 10 or 12 box. I may be wrong.

Nick WTF!?!?...just get a sealed box...Bandpass is prolly the worst sounding out of all boxes. Ported is the loudest, but worst bass response IMO, and sealed is right in the middle. You can buy a 1.5cu ft sealed box for a 12" pretty cheap anywhere...also, you'll need a line out converter in order for it to work with you stock deck.
However if you insist on a bandpass I vouch for the Alumapro BP-12 (?...cant remember the exact model number)

Bandpass is the worst sounding but has the highest output. Period. I has a 6 dB gain over sealed and a 3 dB over ported. Keep in mind that 3 dB is the equivalent of doubling your amplifier power. Bandpass requires largish enclosures to sound decent and even then will be a one-note-wonder and all bass sounds the same
Ported has a 3 dB gain over sealed and is probably the best overall box WHEN DONE PROPERLY (IOW, no prefab enclosures). The big weakness of ported is that they become EXTREMELY non-linear below their F3 point (the point in which the output drops 3 dB in one octave) and tend to start breaking up or even blow if a subsonic filter is not used. Most good amps have subsonic filters however, so this is not an issue usually.
Sealed is inherently the best sounding box, it is significantly quieter than its ported/bandpass brethren. It has the ability to play the deepest of all the boxes and tends to take a smaller enclosure than the others. It is also the most forgiving design for boxes and if you are just going to use a prefab enclosure it is your ONLY choice.

i really dont listen to my music very loud at all all im looking for is jsut a little something extra and bandpass jsut look the nicest in my opinion so sadley enough i am going for looks this time thats all, and i can get a sub easy so jsut looking to see if anyone has a box for cheap
oh and torbert all that coming from a kid with a triple bandpss box in his basement

haha nope but i just hate things that look bad, oh but on that note, how your box is shaped dont you think it is possiblie to cut the 2 sides off that one and out of the triple get 2 singles? if so i might be intrested in buyin that from you

The tuning would be HORRID. Bandpass boxes are not as forgiving as sealed boxes, it would probably make a "Barking" sound if you tried something like that. Seriously.

yes but on this one each sub place is turned and divided into its on little box basically, i got no idea what works though so it probally wouldnt

The one I have for sale doesn't have the flames on it...other than that it is identical though. Like I posted before, $100 obo.
