Looking for a car loan

Any good places to get a car loan for someone with little/no credit?
I filed chapter 7 the first of the year and am kinda looking into getting another car.
Nothing fancy, maybe a civic hatch or something like that, under the $10K range.
A co-signer is out of the question too, my mom had to do the same thing as me and I'm not about to ask my brother or sisters to co-sign either. -
Good luck with that. There are some dealerships that work with poor credit, might want to try them. you WILL pay HIGH interest though regardless of what you find

If you just filed the first of the year sorry to say it but I dont think many places except for the shady dealerships would finance you. You know the ones that if you 1 second late on payment you just lost your car and whatever you paid prior to that point. of course you'll have just absurd interest rates too.
I'd try to find a 500 dollar beater if I were you. Then you can also save money on insurance because you wouldnt need to have full coverage.

Not necessarily true, I know that Gateway, Corwin, Muscatell and others have programs for high risk/poor credit situations. The stipulations are much tougher, and the interest is going to kill you (think 15-25%) BUT if you can afford the payments AND you want to have something that might help improve your credit in the long run, it might be worth it. Remember, you can't improve your credit w/o getting credit in the first place. If I were you, I'd go and buy a $1000 to $2500 car from one of the dealerships and finance it for 24 to 36 months. Always pay a little more than you need to per month but don't pay it off too early (seriously, it can hurt your credit), getting done 6-9 months early is good for credit worthiness but paying off too quick won't "build" your credit very well.
