I was on call this weekend, so I couldn't make it. What kind of spectator and car count was there? Did any 10 sec, 9 sec etc cars show up?

    Good runs you guys!

yeah there was a corvette in i think the 10's but he was letting off it sounded like. most of the bikes were in the 9's and 10's i think. and it looked like 30-40 cars were there. it was my first time ever being to the track and i was impressed by the track and all the people. and there was a 3/4 ton dodge diesel running 15's or lower and i got a ride in that down the track. that was sweet!

That dodge should have been WAY faster for what he had done to it. who's dsm was broke at the end of the track on the return path? and who lost a belt?

seen that 2500 dodge run a 14.9. not sure if that was his best or not though. tons of black smoke, but i bet the long shifts hurt him alot.

black 300C was running with 2 guys in it for the longest time. mid to high 15's. dropped a guy and i saw alot of mid 14's best i saw was 14.4 with most about 14.6. not near as much tire spin as i was expecting though. at least not as bas at the white one that was there last month. all he did was spin. same with the srt 10 last month. lots of tire spin there too.

in progress old school firebird in gray primer definitely grabbed my attention. mid 12's though his window said 12.3 or was it 12.03. loved this car.

couple of G body gm's running stout too. as in mid 12 to mid 13. at least i think there were g bodies. cutlass supremes.

shane was driving a white STI. whos is that? i thought the shops was pewter or something like that. saw a 13.05 from it whos ever it was.

alot of bikes. that 14 was sick as hell. kawasaki z14 i think is the model.
another one had alot of trouble hitting the shifts. for what his trap was he should have been much faster.

blue mustang that just liked to spin his wheels.

loved seeing the old school/new school mach stangs run. even though i am not a ford guy.

cool to see the srt4's line up too. as well as the WRX's

whil;e i did not break out the camera it was still cool to get to the track and see some racing.
definitely the place for it and not the streets.

                can't wait for next time

the guy doesnt drive the car very much, and he still needs practice at driving the car, so with alittle more driving he should be running faster

Oh i thought that time was with shane driving...running a 13.0 with a crappy driver is pretty good then!

Except you don't break everything if you do it wrong....rev high and drop your clutch and you smoke the tires, rev and drop the clutch on an STi/WRX/EVO and you break drivetrain components.

dude it aint exactly a rocket science driving an awd car down the track.

i was watching you launch, what RPM's were you at? 2?

exactly . plus my car is my daily driver, so if i break something then i dont have a car till i fix it.

I was launching at 2k rpms to try to take it easy but i think the lightened flywheel doesnt like that too much. next time i will try at 3500 or 4k. go from there. live and learn.

umm i would try 4500...unless your car is making alot of power at 3500 or 4k....but i doubt it

i usually launch mine at 4500-5000....have done 5500 and 6 but then i just spin 🙂
