Its not about the cost, its the principle of the matter. If they had let her out early they would be setting a bad precedent of letting people out early and for bogus reasons. There would be a ton of cases where someone claims that it is discrimination that Paris gets let out early and yet they have to serve their time in prison.I dont think you are getting what I am trying to say....Most people no matter who you are would not have gotten 45 days in the slammer for driving under suspension. Yes three days too little....but principle of the matter is it is a weak ass crime that didnt deserve the publicity or costs involved.

I know someone very well that got two driving under suspensions in one night, the first of which also included a minor in possesion. He got the choice of serving his time in the Cass County jail, Centre (a local halfway house), or on house arrest. His total combined sentence was only 8 days (4 for each DUS).

first off its jail, not prison. 2 totally different settings.and I agree, she's definately goin to become a better person out of this, hell she said already that her little stupid routine was all an act.
I dont see anything wrong with it, I guess the 1 warning she got didnt send the message and thought her celebrity status could get away with anything.
Right O.J. Simpson?
