From a conversation I had with him earlier:

basically, he was going to do a wire tuck but decided against it due to time constraints and went back to reconnect everything. Once all the plugs were back in he attempted to start the car...nothing. Dash lights come on w/ ignition switch, but car does not crank. He has double/triple checked all plugs/connections.

    My advice was:

Check for voltage at the engine bay fuse box. Double check every fuse in there (just to be safe) with a volt meter on both sides of the fuse. It pretty much has to be an ignition wiring issue...blown fuse or no power to the fuse box..something along those lines.

why do that until you've confirmed that it isn't a fuse/connector?

Well I official will never buy a battery from Advanced Auto Parts EVER AGAIN! First of all the battery was fired. Third one Ive had so far this YEAR. Got the new battery put it in the car and it stated to make some noise from the intake. Figured it wasn't that bad so i connected the plug wired and turned it over and turned over a couple time and now it seems that battery is dead again. Didn't even have it in there for 2 minutes. I haven't gotten a chance to check the fuses yet cause I about broke all the windows in the car im so pissed. I need someone to help me cause I have no idea what to do anymore. WHOEVER HELPS ME GET THE CAR RUNNING OR AT LEAST TURNING OVER GETS FREE BEER!!!!

because shotgunning parts is much easier and cheaper than actually finding the problem

Is this on the wagon or didn't you have a cressida? I had to replace some relays and ground wires on my sister's cressida, but sounds like you have some other problem as well.

I'd give u a hand but I came back home for the day, I could try later tonight or maybe tomar night if you still need it, have u tried the push the car hop in a pop the clutch technique, lol, that's what I do to get mine going most of the time. My insturment lights and everything come on, and sometimes it turns over sometimes it's stone dead. I'd check all the fuses, and also all your starter connections and your starter itself. If you havent gotten it going yet give me a call and i'll see if I can stop by. 218-205-8573

I found "the biggest" problem and that was an easy fix. Now the car goes through the stages of ignition, but the starter does not do anything. Chris and I started traking the starter circut, but I got called away. I'm guessing the starter motor is shot, and then there are the other problems that Bryce and I came across before Bryce sold the car. Chris, I think, has decided to scrap getting it running and wait to swap.

because checking the fuses is a common sense thing to do...if he didnt check that before replacing it he would be retarded.

But blindly replacing a switch won't necessarily fix the problem either. Sure, it might, but there is no guarantee that it will, especially seeing how everything worked prior to the abandoned wire tuck, and didn't work after the reconnection, logically the problem is most likely a connector/fuse that is causing the problem and not a mechanical switch that was not directly associated with the work being done.
