Sad sight for a honda lover

California loves to crush cars, anyone remember the early 90's when they were crushing American Classics simply because they didn't comply w/ CARB regulations and the owners couldn't afford to upgrade their cars? California is a bit extreme IMHO.

I was considering moving to cali in a couple years, now im a little worried, not that i really street race or anything, but damn that is extreme. And yea, thats BS that drunk driving is way less punishment but they know that "racers" are in love with their cars where drunk drivers would typically only be mad about losing the value of the vehicle, not the actual vehicle.

California is the retarded cousin of the US. Elects a horrible actor/body builder as governator. Houses 90% of Americas hippies and now crushes cars for, in my opinion, stupid reasoning.

It was a shitcan state long before they elected the Governator...
Also how am I, a Mustang owner, the first person to point this out in the article...
He had purchased a B-20 Vtech engine with a double-overhead cam a couple months before, and after a police investigation, was told it was stolen.
I do agree with Drifter, they should switch punishments for street racing vs drunk driving. Drunks get their vehicle crushed, racers get huge fines.

Most of those cars were crushed for STOLEN parts, one for street racing.

Lovin' it.

I beat both of you to it...

^ lol nice statement indeed..
but ya thats bullshit to crush a car simply because it has stolen parts or because someone was street racing, matt made a good point with the drunk driving thing.
noway in hell i'd let them crush my car for something so dumb.i agree 100% this is bullshit
imagine if the stolen parts were recent and reported, and there just like ummm oh ya we found your parts... but unfortunately they were stolen, so we crushed them.
