Help please!

So it was about 10 o'clock at night tonight, and i was riding my bike down 32nd, downshifted about 1 block before dairy queen, and took the corner......tried to shift into 3rd after the corner, couldnt.....pulled over, killed the engine, couldnt shift into any gear or neutral, the readout didnt say it was in neutral or a gear.... tried kicking the shift lever, wouldnt budge, then let it sit for a while, and put the key in and it read third but couldnt shift outa it into 1st or neutral,then after that it worked fine.....anyone know what thats about???

started the bike in the garage a little bit ago and its stuck in neutral

Try disconnecting the battery then waiting for 15-20 minutes. Even if it does go into gear after this, I'd still bring it in to the dealership and talk with them about it.
