Looks like it ought to go pretty fast, but doesn't look like there is much Lightning left there. 😛

your correct Dave....when do u cross the line of full race vehicle? there has to be a point of no return

but it is still cool to see a truck(not really) run 8 secs....now if I could only do that with a 4dr 4x4

i do not remember what kind of trucks they were , but i would assume dodges.
a coworker brought a diesel power mag to work a couple weeks back and it had some sick diesel powered rides that were dipping under 10sec. yes they are far from production units, but still rocks to see diesel go that fast.

Here is the fastest lightning of all time. Sure it's an old lightning, but it's badass. It got sold to some Arab Prince in the middle east.

There was a late 90's Dodge 3/4 ton at the track yesterday, it had those frigging goofy looking stacks that come up through the bed so it looks like it has exhaust like a Semi. Anyway, it's first pass it smokes all 4 wheels at the launch and ran a 12.4 @ 111 mph. The best I saw it run was a 12.0 @ 114 mph or so. It was pretty cool.

I had drill this weekend so i didn't get to come watch. Woulda been fun to see. Was it actually a diesel? I've seen a couple trucks in the past with stacks, but nothing that quick. did matt run?
