I'll admit, GB will probably lose to MN on xmas. I hope it doesn't happen that way, but I am more of a realist than a dreamer. As for favre being a gunslinger/trooper/warrior...its hard to argue w/ some of it.
Gunslinger=Almost every receiver that has attempted to catch a pass from him say their hands hurt from it. He throws hard, not many people will argue w/ me on that. (he may have gotten softer in recent years, but from player interviews it doesn't appear to be that way)
Trooper=How many games has he started in a row? I believe (and could be wrong) that his record usually improves when he is injured and has something to prove.
Warrior=Along the same lines as trooper, how many QB's would actually have the balls to get into a rivalry w/ Hovan or any defensive player that is trying to kill him every game?
Seriously, I have heard every single way that a game announcer and Packer fan can possibly think of to praise Favre. I don't need to hear it much more. I am not arguing with some of that stuff. He's done some very, very impressive things. I just think that it is a way too much when the announcers proceed to annoint him as a saint when the Packers are losing by 30 something, when the Packers are on defense, and during nearly every play in every NFL game. -
You gott commend brett favre for starting over 200 straight in the most vulnerable position, in all of sports. Nobody gets hurt more then qb's because they aren't made to take hits like runnin backs. with that said, i still hate favre with passion

The vikings will NEVER win a superbowl in the next couple decades, so move on from that worthless team.

All ive heard is they are getting a new stadium, with some kind of retractable roof.
Not in the very near future, unfortunately. With the huge budget defecits in MN it doesn't look like tax funding will be available for a while. The Dome is a shit hole.

nope wrong again kirk, more like 3-9 (still not impressive, I agree...but he's 1-1 for superbowls, how many have culpepper, moss, hovan, etc... played in again...?)
