Theres too many Subies out there too IMO. Liked it better when Carlson, Shane and I were the only wrx owners in town....felt more like an unique car back in those days.

With the WRX that must have lasted about 2 weeks. After nearly 6 months I can think of a handful of the wagon around town, each one a different color oddly enough.

ok...maybe we weren't the ONLY wrx owners, just the only ones driving them daily in the areas I was driving.

If I remember right, I was like the 12th person in the state to own one.

haha... see it's called an exaggeration... an overstatement to emphasize a point. 😛

Good luck finding a Syclone reasonable that hasn't had the holy shit kicked out of it. Not to mention getting parts. And yes some parts are deffinately one-off. Got a bud that was going to make a syclone clone but scrapped the idea when he found out how difficult it was going to be getting some of the parts. He built an LT1 powered awd extreme. turned out nice though and not all ghettoed out.

I can't remember the color really I breifly passed it and didn't realize what it was at first.

I just noticed the huge tires when I was behind and I was wondering why it had such huge tires.

Yeah, but you never have to worry about the rods/pistons going out...LOL. Just apex seals. The key is keeping them cool, if they get hot shit breaks.

well it's like anything else you need to take care of them.... the biggest problems lie in overheating like tjamz said, and if you're not properly tuned, even one knock, and it's time for a rebuild.
