My roomate new hobby
-
ANyone who has been over to my house has probably met my roomate, matt klocke(the kid with the spiders and hedgehogs) anyways, he took up a new hobby like 2 or 3 months ago, and it amazes the shit out of me.
He paints this...

with spraypaint(cheap cans, not air brush) and uses random household shit for templates and tools to make weird effects.i think its cool. -
It makes it more interesting watching the artist do them, especially the ones that are really fast. Down in Austin, Tx people will do that in alleys and parking lots th/fri/sat nights down on 6th street by all the bars and clubs. All the drunks come and watch, mostly for the end when they spray some clear coat and light it on fire then blow it out quick. Some pay pretty good money for them, I think I paid $30 for a 13"x24" painting.

I say guys doing this stuff on instruments in Europe. People were getting crazy space stuff like that on their guitars and stuff.

those guys that do it on the streets have to make some damn good money. i watched for like 45 minutes becuase of the huge crowds it would draw and he sold like 9-10 of them for at least 20 a piece.

Do you perchance have a 70's vintage faux brick paneled wall to put that on?If he will paint it, i will buy the supplies and build it.
