    Since no one is open on sunday as far as machine shops go, is there any way to resurface the flywheel yourself safely

    no race car? becuz homeowner...

      Depending on how bad it is I have just hit them with a scotchbrite pad or a DA sander w/ some 80 grit on it real quick. Just clean up the contact surface and throw it back in.

      When my integra used to eat ACT clutches I never actually took the flywheel to get resurfaced, just cleaned it up by hand.

        It's farely glazed, lots of tiny heat fractures and the center is discolored and bluish.
